Tags and navigation
Organizing with tags
Tags group related terminals without creating extra shells. Web, API, and Worker can share demo, while API also belongs to a Backend tag.
Create and rename tags
Edit a terminal and use Tags. Choose an existing suggestion or type a new tag and press Enter. Comma and leaving the field also commit a typed tag. Pasting comma-separated or newline-separated names adds multiple tags. Save the profile to persist membership.
A tag exists because at least one terminal uses it. To rename it across its members, open the tag's sidebar menu and choose Rename tag. Review the name before applying it, especially if another tag already has that name. Changing one chip in one profile only changes that profile's membership.
Membership
Add several tag chips when a terminal belongs to more than one group. Removing a chip and saving removes only that membership. It neither deletes nor stops the terminal. All appearances of API refer to the same profile, shell, output, and running command.
Group actions affect the terminals in that group. Before starting or stopping a tag, remember that its members may also be visible under other tags.
Untagged
Untagged contains profiles with no tags. It is a navigation group, not a tag you need to create. Its page provides tabs like a tagged page. Adding the first tag moves a profile out of Untagged; removing its last tag returns it there.
Untagged cannot be renamed or exported as a tag. Export an individual terminal, or assign the terminals a real tag before exporting a collection.
Terminal order
Drag terminal rows or tag-page tabs to reorder them. The saved configuration order supplies the relative member order within groups, so reordering a terminal may also change its position in another tag it shares. Exporting a tag preserves its displayed member order.
Dragging between tags replaces the source membership with the destination membership while retaining other tags. Moving to Untagged removes all tags. Use the Tags editor when you want to retain an existing membership and add another explicitly. Duplication inserts the new terminal immediately after its source.
